From the structure to the details
Our residential construction project reached an important stage in July 2024. The main structure was in place, and the team had moved on to smoothing and preparing the wall surfaces.
This update captures that stage of the build: the exterior taking shape, the openings defined, and attention turning toward the finish of each surface.
Wall smoothing and preparation
The work described in our original update focused on smoothing the cement wall surfaces and preparing them for the next stages. Careful surface preparation helps create a consistent finish before the final details follow.
What came next in the plan
At the time of this update, the planned next stages included interior finishing, fixtures and the final touches needed to turn the structure into a home.
